The workshops at the Indian Institute of Human Settlements, Bangalore as well as the Max Mueller Bhavan, New Delhi drew a wide range of participants from an open invitation call - architects, sociologists, retried corporates, theoretical physicists, urbanists, installation artists, government officials, researchers, activists - both, women and men. Eachworkshop involved theoretical learning as well as physical tours into the city, and culminated with the participants creating an art work responding to their concerns on the issue and/or those raised by the OPACITY show. These artworks took many forms: poetry, paintings, photo essays, video films, video performance art, audio installations, emotion maps, photo installations, a coffee table book, interactive media installations, and so on.
