BODY IS AN OPAQUE PRESENCE. SOMETIMES BELONGING, SOMETIMES OWNING, SOMETIMES ALIENATED. ALWAYS AWARE, ALWAYS STRATEGISING. OFTEN FRAMING, BUT EVEN MORE OFTEN, BEING FRAMED BY THE SPACE IT INHABITS,
IN PERMANENCE OR IN PASSING...
The artistic expression of how experiences of space are mediated by gender, caste, class, age, ability and so on, is intended to explore their intersections and create an artwork that would be interactive, immersive and experiential... one that would hopefully, also disrupt some of our easy assumptions about the meaning and use of space.
